hey boys n ladies here we are 4 years after the first legendary Databend release!! it was a long journey to get here but im happy i made it. i took great care to make this album something special and i hope it shows. sometimes creative projects take longer to complete than you expect but its always for the better. i spent many of these 4 years learning what "sidechain compression" is but i think im starting to understand! this album started life as a complete tribute to Skrillex and that dude with the marshmallow head, but my indie rock roots took control and created something closer to a fusion of Pavement, Built To Spill, and Fugazi. i asked J Mascis to shred some guitar on this record, but he told me to fuck off.

anyways this record would not have been possible without the mix/mastering skills of Michael Davidson and the drum programming wizardry of Andrew "barley" Cochrane. these guys probably worked harder than i did and they made this record sound "phat". seriously thank you boys for all the hard work you put in :) and thank you to all the fans that have reached out to me the past few years asking when the next album is coming. your support makes me eternally grateful and i hope you have fun bumping this in your dorm room. stay safe and have a good one!! rock over london, rock on chicago!!!
